Shiso Pepsi & Coke with Green Tea

Japan:What a fucking nob.

Okayama:What a total dickhead. Seriously, how does one have the stupidity to make comments on another culture? The Japanese I know LOVE these new flavours. I too love the Shiso Pepsi. Go fuck off back to the States fuckhead.

Midori:Some hypocrisy going on here, I see. Now who's commenting on another culture? This video is made to present the man's OPINION on COCA COLA and PEPSI products, both of which are American companies in the first place. From the video I can see that he's not trying to offend Japanese people, just expressing his honest opinion on Coke and Pepsi's latest attempts to buy the Japanese people over with mass marketing. And, personally, I don't see how green tea cola would possibly taste good. Why not just drink green tea?

Peter:Did all of Japan call me a knob?

Seth:Dude wants to call people out but doesn't have the balls to leave his name, who's the knob?

Seb:I don't think he's talking about Japanese culture, I think he really is just talking about the drinks. All he really says is he's not the target audience for these drinks.

Peter:While people were saying unkind things about me on the internet I was busy gathering together staff from the HikanNinja accounting and design sections to get a better and more balanced response to the drinks.

Seems the majority of our testees liked both drinks. The people who didn't like Shiso Pepsi really really didn't like the drink. Personally I chalk that up to the very strong smell for a drink.

Eric:For the record, Peter cannot "fuck off back to the States" because he is not American.

Eric:Because shiso is minty, Pepsi Shiso tastes like a mild mouthwash. The neon green color makes it even harder not to draw that comparison.

Peter:JapanProbe has a nice collection of various opinions on the new Pepsi Shiso drink. Sadly, I was the only one called a nob by all of Japan for my negative reaction.

marlow :

marlow :pepsi shiso is nasty, but worth the try.

America:Actually I called Peter a (k)nob. but that was just a general comment, not about the video at all.

Peter:The problem with going around just saying people are a nob or asshole or faggot on the internet and saying nothing else is that it leaves everyone thinking that there is no reason for the comment thus leaving everyone believing that you are simply making noise to be heard and without purpose. Much like I ended up doing on behalf of Trevor David to an apparent troll for that post I'd really like some sort of justification as to why you think I am a nob.

I know a lot of people find my sense of humor offensive, but simply calling me a nob isn't really saying anything at all. What do you consider my most nobbish of attributes and why do you feel it's necessary to bring it up on my site? The obvious solution to being annoyed by me would be to not visit a site where I contribute 66% of the content. I don't want to give the impression that not everyone is welcome here, but I don't understand why people visit sites if the sites bothers them.

As HikanNinja grows we are obviously going to get a lot more of these sorts of comments but they don't add anything to the posts. While I don't have a problem with people saying negative things about what I post or what we do we are obviously going to have to get stricter with commenters otherwise half of the follow-up comments will be things like "first" and "asshat" which tend to take the whole site down a notch. It also means we are not really given the chance for a rebuttal.

This falls under our Feasey rule and what I am asking for is a reason otherwise further comments will be deleted.
